Polyester Plastic
Polyester made in a thermoplastic form is used for
food containers and wraps; and in a thermoset form used
for bathroom fixtures and counters, and microwave
cookware. In the thermoset form, various fillers are
added. One filler added is fiberglass for making bath
fixtures. It is rigid and durable. In cookware it resists
heat up to 400 F.
